Permanent Goodness -Psalm 23 Part 6 of 6

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. –Psalm 23:6

Is there anything that we can claim for “all the days of our lives”, anything that you know for certain? David knows and understands the goodness of God, and here in the “valley of the shadow of death” he acknowledges His goodness, and the permanence of it in his life. He then ties it to his own place of dwelling, or living. David is making a bold declaration for his own life, no matter what, he is going to live with the Lord and in His house.
He also shows that his faith gives him hope beyond this life, for he is not just declaring this allegiance here and now, but forever. Is there anything that you can declare forever?

Where do you want to live forever? The choice is really yours to make.
